The Moto G24 Power, the latest affordable smartphone from the Lenovo-owned brand, was introduced in India on Tuesday (January 30). The new Moto G-series phone runs on the MediaTek Helio G85 4G chipset that’s paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It boasts a punch-hole display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It has an acrylic glass build and sports a dual primary camera unit featuring a 50-megapixel main sensor. The Moto G24 is powered by a 6000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
The budget smartphone features a 6.56-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with support for a 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 537 nits. The smartphone features a punch-hole notch design on the front and comes with an IP52 water-repellent design.
The Moto G24 Power is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 processor paired with a Mali G-52 MP2 GPU. The smartphone is available with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage.
In terms of camera, the Moto G24 Power comes with a dual camera setup on the back with a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP sensor for macro shots. The smartphone also features a single 16 MP front-facing sensor for handling all the selfie and video call-related requirements.
Connectivity options on the Moto G24 Power include Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, LTEPP, SUPL, Beidu, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, and a USB Type-C port. It comes with an IP52-rated water-repellent build. Sensors onboard include an accelerometer, ambient light, e-compass, gyroscope, proximity, sensor hub, and SAR sensor. The Moro G24 Power 4G smartphone features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. It features a stereo speaker supported by Dolby Atmos technology.
Motorola has equipped the Moto G24 Power with a massive 6000mAh battery and 33W TurboPower fast charging. It measures 163.49 x 74.53 x 8.99 mm and weighs 197 grams.
Moto G24 Power Price:
The Moto G24 Power is priced at ₹8,999 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB of storage variant, while the 8GB and 128GB storage variants are priced at ₹9,999. The smartphone will be available in two color variants: Glacier Blue and Ink Blue, and it will be available on Flipkart, Motorola.in, and select retail stores from February 7 onwards.
Interestingly, Motorola is also offering a ₹750 exchange bonus on trading in the old devices, bringing the effective price of the base variant down to ₹8,249.
