The company recently confirmed the chipsets that will be powering the upcoming models. The Poco X6 will be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, while its Pro variant, the Poco X6 Pro, will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra chipset.

If the POCO X6 Pro is a rebranded phone, its specifications should be the same as those of the Redmi K70E. The Redmi K70E features a 6.67″inches OLED display with 120 Hz refresh rate. it’s powered by a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra, paired with 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM. Its triple back camera array includes a 64-megapixel OIS primary camera. a 5500mAh battery-powered 16-megapixel front camera that supports 90W cable charging.

Poco X6: What to Expect

The Poco X6 is expected to be a powerhouse, boasting of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, which also powers the recently launched Redmi Note 13 Pro. In terms of memory, the smartphone will likely feature LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, offering blistering performance and ample storage space.

The Pro variant of the X6 series, the Poco X6 Pro, is rumored to be a rebranded version of the Redmi K70E smartphone available in China. It’s expected to have a 6.67-inch 1.5K LTPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate for an immersive visual experience.

The smartphone will likely offer up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of built-in storage, ensuring smooth performance even with heavy usage. Its triple rear camera setup may include a 67MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) support, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro unit. Additionally, it’s expected to pack a robust 5,000mAh battery unit that may support 67W wired fast charging, coupled with an Android 13-based skin.

POCO X6 Pro and Redmi K70e are the same device

The X6 Pro 5G has been spotted on Thailand’s NBTC certification site. Here, the smartphone carries the model number 2311DRK48G along with the listing, clearly mentioning that it’s the X6 Pro 5G.
The Chinese model, 2311DRK48C, is rumored to launch as the Redmi K70E later today, while the Indian counterpart of the POCO X6 Pro 5G, model number 2311DRK48I, was seen on BIS, according to a report by Tech Outlook.
Based on these sightings, it is anticipated that the POCO X6 Pro 5G will go on sale in India and other countries under the new Redmi K70e name. This refutes earlier rumors that the Redmi K70e will be on sale worldwide under the POCO F6 5G moniker.

Expected specs of POCO X6 Pro 5G

As for the phone‘s specifications, we should know more after the Redmi K70e debuts. The Redmi K70e is expected to include a 6.67-inch OLED 1.5K display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It could be a powered by the Dimensity 8300 Ultra, and launch with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.

The smartphone is also tipped to pack a 5000mAh battery with 90W fast charging support. Rumors also claim a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor at the back for selfies; however, the front camera might be 16MP.
