GPU Performance

In addition to claiming a 25% reduction in power usage, Qualcomm promises a 25% increase in GPU clock rate.

CPU Performance

It is reported that the CPU now operates at a stunning 30% quicker rate and uses 20% less power.

AI Improvements

The integrated Hexagon NPU claims a 40% increase in efficiency and is 98% faster than its predecessor. Qualcomm’s AI engine can handle up to 10 trillion parameters directly on the SoC, making it the first to enable multimodal generative AI models including LLM, LVM, and ASR.

Snapdragon Sight, Qualcomm’s brand for camera functions, is also back on board. For images, Dolby HDR is supported in addition to Ultra HDR. Generative AI models may now be used to enhance photos, and undesired persons and objects can be eliminated from videos using ArcSoft’s Video Magic Eraser.

Snapdragon X75 Modem-RF 5G

The integrated Snapdragon X75 Modem-RF 5G system supports simultaneous 5G-mmWave and 5G-Sub6 transmissions, allowing for data rates of up to 10 GBit/s download and 3.5 GBit/s upload.
